This won't help you with pathfinder 2e but I've been running a Conan 2d20 rpg and spears are great weapon choices. First it has reach because it's longer than most weapons. It can be used 2 handed or 1 handed if you are strong enough. It has weapon qualities of piercing which is what it's made for.

Attach a chain end to one spear, and a chain end to another spear, then do this three times. Throw or place these in such a way to create three horizontal lines infront of you. More chain-spears can potentially be added if needed. You can also maybe put booze on them and light them on fire for both dramatic effect and to deter enemies further.
