Can't flip septum piercing up - meta/discussion. I read online that you shouldn't sleep with your septum piercing flipped up unless it's a retainer. I have gotten into the bad habit of flipping mine up because I tend to accidentally touch my face a lot in my sleep, or hit my piercing on accident. Mines still healing but I keep it flipped up so that I touch it less.
